MBA Application Deadlines for a 2017 Start: The US South

Continuing our list of 2017 US MBA application deadlines, we move on to the Southern US. More specifically, this list covers MBA application deadlines for business schools in Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee, and includes information on those all-important dates for MBA programs at UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business and UNC Kenan-Flagler.

While a number of business schools elsewhere in the country have bumped up their round one deadlines to September, the earliest deadline listed here is October 5 2016 (all deadlines are for full-time MBA programs unless otherwise stated).

The round one MBA application deadline for Emory’s Goizueta Business School is October 14 2016, with notifications set to be released no later than December 1.

The application cycle at University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business involves four deadlines. According to the school, prospective students seeking scholarships should apply during the first two rounds. The round one deadline falls on October 5 and decisions are issued by December 1, 2016.

MBA admissions deadlines for entry in the fall of 2017 at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business are set to be the same as the fall 2016 deadlines currently displayed on its website, according to a school representative. This means a round one deadline of October 15 and a decision-notification date two months later.
